Entry-Level Python Software Engineer
Position Summary: As an entry-level Python software engineer, you will be responsible for working with engineers in writing and maintaining Python code in our repositories. You will be building automations in the FinTech space, specifically focused on accounting. This is a remote position (US only), starting at 20 hours per week with the potential for increased hours in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python code to integrate various accounting applications.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and test integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to API and RPA integrations.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as required by the clients and projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A 4-year degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of programming.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new applications for integrating, especially in API and RPA domains.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to work in a Windows environment
