Afterschool Code Mentor (Sammamish)
As an Afterschool Code Mentor, you’ll work in-person at an elementary school in Sammamish, WA. While the exact schedule of each school assignment varies, rest assured that it will be within the area you'll apply for and between 3:00 to 5:30 pm on a weekday.
Here are the responsibilities for this position:
- Work at an Elementary school IN-PERSON
- Take attendance for the students' IN-PERSON
- Follow our teaching program, either Scratch and Python
- Create a positive and safe environment where students can grow
- Allow students to be picked up by their parents. Follow school release protocol.
- Keep the classroom clean to ensure a pleasant experience for all
- Write notes and progress reports for all students. Provide feedback to parents after working with students.
- Report weekly to the Operations Manager.
One school assignment is equivalent to 1.5 hours every week.
