MAE Department Tutor (Federal Work-Study/Evansdale) #7911556

The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department is seeking students who have performed well (e.g., earned an “A” grade) in MAE classes to serve as peer tutors to facilitate help sessions, problem recitation, and one-on-one support for students in MAE. Tutoring needs include all MAE 200, 300, and 400 level courses. If you’ve earned an “A” grades in only certain MAE subjects, you are still eligible to apply as multiple tutors will be hired and assigned course specialties. MAE graduate students who continued into graduate school in MAE are espcially encouraged to apply to help support 400 level tutoring. Hours are flexible and can be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Tutors and those who seek department funded tutoring will be required to discuss a tutoring plan in consultation with department faculty and adhere to an tutoring policy to ensure the academic integrity of our programs.
