The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is hiring tutors for the 2024-2025 academic year.  The ARC serves current WVU students by providing academic support in multiple subjects in-person at Bennett Tower and virtually via ZOOM.

We employ current WVU students to provide support in a variety of subjects. However, the highest demand is for STEM courses such as Math, Chemistry, etc.  Tutors should also help students develop academic habits and skills that are essential to success in any course.

To be eligible for employment, candidates must have an overall GPA of 3.25 or higher. Students who have earned an “A” in high demand courses will be given priority.  We require content tutors to have earned a minimum grade of ‘B’ or better in the course to provide content tutoring services. 

We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.  Interviews will be held via ZOOM beginning in mid-July.
