State Opioid Response Evaluation (SORE) Student Worker (9965605)
The student’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- File management and data analysis of public health data within a secure, virtual desktop interface.
- Assist with executing the bi-monthly grantee monitoring report submitted to BBH.
- Assist with executing the Mid-Year and End-of-Year reporting for SAMHSA.
- Assist with renaming and proper storage of files within a secure, virtual desktop interface.
- Perform work in a professional manner and complete assignments on time.
- Familiarize themselves with the mission and work of the Health Affairs by attending monthly All-Hands meetings and Functional Team meetings, as appropriate.
- Become familiar with Health Affairs office processes, procedures, and systems to be able to answer and assist with routine Program Manager responsibilities.
- Participate in project team meetings and activities (e.g., scrum, stand-ups, action teams, etc.).
- Assist the teams with performing project risk management, including, but not limited to, risk identification documentation, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.
- Seek opportunities to refine, streamline, and/or optimize processes and procedures.
- Consult with your supervisor regarding decisions outside the scope of your authority.
- Assist with other tasks, as appropriate.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with qualitative research methods.
- Knowledge about program evaluation and applications
- Proficient communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications
